Can you feel it?

There’s a groundswell in rural America that is lifting the entire nation. An ever-stronger pulse beating in the Heartland—signaling rejuvenation, rebirth, renewal.

A tremendous surge of energy—generated in America’s cornfields.

Domestic energy in the form of renewable ethanol that is not only improving our homeland security and our balance of trade—but improving our environment.

Economic energy driven by unprecedented levels of investment in rural communities and the powerful impact of value-added agriculture upon the health and vitality of Main Street USA.

Human energy fueled by a safe, abundant and affordable food supply—from corn-derived foods and ingredients to the nutritious meat products that are raised on corn and the coproducts of ethanol production.

As always, America is looking to agriculture—its reliable foundation and greatest strength—and corn in particular, to address the nation’s challenges and capitalize on opportunity. In fact, the entire world is recognizing that corn—and the talented producers who grow it—are poised to provide energy for the solutions needed in the years ahead.

Don’t make the mistake of thinking that a U.S. corn producer isn’t up to the task. This incredible demand is exactly what corn farmers have been working toward for decades. And they stand ready to meet the challenges of this exciting future—and live up to the expectations of those who have placed their faith in the ability of American farmers to continue doing what they do best.

As the National Corn Growers Association celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2007, we can assure you that the nation’s corn producers are confident and capable.

But most of all, America’s corn producers are energized.
