Farmers Celebrate the Magic Of
Your Success at Commodity Classic - DEC.12, 2005:
Countdown to Classic - 80 Days Until Commodity Classic
(ST. LOUIS) December 12, 2005 -- The 10th Anniversary Commodity Classic
will provide corn and soybean farmers with an opportunity to celebrate “the
magic of success,” in Anaheim, Calif., March 2-4, 2006. Commodity
Classic is an annual event that makes it possible for growers to reap
the benefits of top-notch educational seminars and a highly praised trade
show. The Commodity Classic experience offers lasting benefits for a farmer’s
business operation and bottom line.
Commodity Classic is the convention and trade show presented by the American
Soybean Association (ASA) and the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA).
NCGA President Gerald Tumbleson said, “Commodity Classic is unmatched
in its educational offerings. With workshops where growers can earn CEU
credits and one of agriculture’s best trade shows, you can expect
to take away a wealth of information that can help you be more profitable
in your farming operation.”
ASA President Bob Metz said, “Commodity Classic is an opportunity
for farmers to learn from industry experts, ask questions, see new technology
and products, and network with other growers from around the country.
It’s an experience that’s well worth the time and investment.”
Noted ag commentator and U.S. Farm Report host John Phipps will once
again emcee this year’s General Session. Highlighting the event
will be country music artist and speaker Michael Peterson, who will inspire
the audience with his message of Americans’ duty to country and
community. Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty will discuss the future
of renewable fuels in America, and noted agriculture speaker Dr. Jay Lehr
will deliver a message that will motivate the agricultural audience and
encourage them to spread their message of success. Invited speakers include
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Secretary of Defense Donald
Rumsfeld.
The 2006 Commodity Classic will wrap up on Saturday, March 4, with an “Evening
of Entertainment” featuring the award-winning country music star
Lorrie Morgan.
