Farmers
are Winners at Commodity Classic
(ST. LOUIS) November
6, 2003 -- Corn and soybean farmers who attend Commodity Classic, March
2-4, 2004, in Las Vegas, will leave this year’s event a winner.
Growers will hear the most up-to-date industry information and see the
newest products that can help enhance their farm efficiency and profitability.
Commodity Classic
is the ninth annual convention and trade show presented by the National
Corn Growers Association (NCGA) and the American Soybean Association
(ASA). At Commodity Classic, growers come together with industry representatives
and key leaders in the agriculture sector for information and educational
sessions that really make a difference.
ASA President Ron Heck said, “Commodity Classic brings soybean
and corn farmers together from across the country to sharpen their business
skills, learn about new products, be updated on important issues and
network with other growers and industry leaders.”
Growers attending
the 2004 Commodity Classic are sure to be impressed by a trade show
that will include more than 600 booths representing leading agricultural
businesses and organizations.
NCGA President Dee
Vaughan said, “With hundreds of exhibitors showcasing their products
and services at the Commodity Classic trade show, it’s a great
opportunity to talk with a wide variety of agriculture suppliers and
manufacturers, conveniently assembled in one location.”
The 2004 Commodity
Classic General Session will “juggle” its way to success
as “The Passing Zone” provides entertainment with a motivational
message about teamwork and achieving goals. John Wee and Own Morse are
known as The Passing Zone, and they juggle just about anything, including
gasoline-powered devices. The Passing Zone notes that juggling is the
perfect metaphor to describe what people do in their workday and how
they balance life’s many demands.
Another highlight
of Commodity Classic will be the special “Evening of Entertainment”
featuring country music star Terri Clark. She was nominated for this
year’s Country Music Association “Female Vocalist of the
Year” and Country Weekly’s Fan Favorite “Female Vocalist”
Award.
