Commodity Classic Countdown:
48 Days Remaining (1-13-06)
There are only 48 days until 10th annual Commodity Classic, the convention
and trade show presented by the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA)
and American Soybean Association (ASA). This year’s event is
in Anaheim, Calif., March 2-4. Growers who register before Jan. 19
will save $50 on their registration fees.
The trade show for this premier agricultural event will display the
latest in technology, equipment and products, while the convention will
offer seminars that educate and enlighten growers on the topics and issues
that matter to them.
More than 600 booths will fill the Commodity Classic trade show, where
farmers will have the opportunity to talk with agribusiness and industry
leaders representing more than 150 companies. Growers will have direct
access to the latest information about a variety of products, equipment
and services that can impact their bottom line.
“Commodity Classic is all about farmer profitability,” said
NCGA President Gerald Tumbleson. “New products and services are
among the many offerings of this premier ag event.”
The 2006 Commodity Classic General Session will feature a panel of experts
talking about the promise of biofuels and the spirit of America’s
farmers. In addition, there will be special appearances by country music
artist Michael Peterson spreading his message about answering America’s
call to duty. To wrap up Commodity Classic on March 4, a special “Evening
of Entertainment” will feature a performance by the country music
star Lorrie Morgan.
Anaheim/Orange County is California’s premier playground. In addition

While Commodity Classis celebrating its 10th Anniversary, Disneyland
