Countdown to Classic – Just 15 Days Until Commodity Classic (2-15-06)

In two weeks, NCGA members from around the country will gather at the 10th Anniversary Commodity Classic, in Anaheim, Calif., March 2-4, 2006, for an experience that will educate, enlighten and entertain them. It’s an experience that can provide benefits for a grower’s farm operation and profitability for years to come.

There’s still time for growers to register for the 2006 Commodity Classic, which offers educational sessions on such topics as protecting the number one customer for soy and corn, building international customers, taking control of grain belt agriculture, new generation grain contracts and new technology in agriculture, to name a few. A highly praised trade show adds even more value to Commodity Classic.

“It’s hard to believe Commodity Classic is almost here,” said NCGA President Gerald Tumbleson. “There is still time for growers to take advantage of this opportunity that can help them be more profitable.”

Noted ag commentator and U.S. Farm Report host John Phipps will once again emcee this year’s General Session. Keynote speaker Secretary of Agriculture Mike Johanns will share his perspectives on the 2007 farm bill.  Highlighting the event will be country music artist and speaker Michael Peterson, who will inspire the audience with his message of Americans’ duty to country and community.  Minnesota Gov.
