AgriTalk Radio Airs Ethanolfacts.com Spots (10-5-05)

National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) members within earshot of AgriTalk Radio’s affiliate stations will soon be hearing public service announcements (PSAs) informing listeners where they can find reliable, up-to-date information on ethanol: www.ethanolfacts.com.

The PSAs draw attention to what consumers have been hearing, that ethanol can help in reducing the nation’s dependence on foreign oil; lessen the damage to the environment all while building a more stable economy. Ethanolfacts.com is a resource for consumers looking for information on the benefits of fueling vehicles with ethanol.

NCGA encourages its members to visit Ethanolfacts.com, where they’ll learn about:
• E85, a blend of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent unleaded gasoline, which is gaining in popularity in the alternative fuel marketplace
• Emerging uses of ethanol, such as E-diesel
• The energy value of ethanol, including information on the fuel’s energy balance
• The environmental benefits of ethanol
• How ethanol helps America’s economy;
Information on flexible fuel vehicles
• How and where ethanol is produced

The PSAs are a joint project of NCGA, the National Farm Broadcasters Service and AgriTalk Radio. For a list of AgriTalk Radio stations, visit www.agritalk.com.
