NCGA’s
Doggett to Participate in Agribusiness Summit (5-18-05)
Technology
and the future of agriculture is one of the featured topics at the
Agribusiness in the 21st Century forum May 20 where National Corn
Growers Association (NCGA) Vice President of Public Policy Jon Doggett

“This
is a great opportunity for NCGA to present the information it has
developed on how emerging technologies can help advance the value
of agriculture,” said Doggett. “The forum will also
provide the opportunity to learn more about the new earth observation
system emerging and how it will affect our industry.”
The forum will
be held at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Friday from 2 – 4
p.m Attendees include Secretary of Agriculture Mike Johanns; Sen.
Pat Roberts (Kan.); Vice Admiral USN (Ret) Conrad C. Lautenbacher,
Jr., Ph.D., under secretary of commerce for oceans and atmosphere
and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) administrator
