This year’s Commodity Classic held in Austin, Texas, Feb. 24-26, 2005 will feature hard-hitting learning sessions and an in-depth general session, sure to be the highlight of the three-day event.

The already stellar program line up includes a general session that features an exchanging of ideas with some of the agriculture industry’s leaders, learning about the future of biotechnology, marketing agriculture to the consumer and gaining a thorough understanding of the changes and trends that will shape the corn industry in the years to come. Commodity Classic learning centers complement the symposium proceedings giving the attendees a multitude of selections on sessions that directly impact their operations.

“Commodity Classic is the premier outlet for growers to discuss issues important to their families, communities and their farming operations. Commodity Classic is one of the agriculture industries best trade shows and is unmatched in the information it offers,” said NCGA Corn Board member and Commodity Classic Grower Committee Co-Chair Scott Wall.

The learning centers feature a look at the 109th Congressional Session, US Landcare Initiative, Emerging and Transitioning Soybean Diseases in the U.S., Preserving Rural America, Meeting the Challenges of the Soybean Variant, Breaking Down Barriers to Build International Customers, Taking Ownership of Grain Belt Agriculture, Soybean Solutions, Guidance Systems, the critical issue of rising Natural Gas prices, What you need to know about Brazil, Strip Tillage Positive Impacts and Understanding New General Grain Contracts.
