NCGA Applauds Crowder as USTR Chief Agricultural Negotiator (12-21-05)
The National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) is pleased with Senate confirmation yesterday of Dick Crowder as the U.S. Trade Representative Chief Agricultural Negotiator.
“Dick Crowder will provide a wealth of knowledge and experience at a critical time in the Doha Round trade talks,” said NCGA President Gerald Tumbleson. “His understanding of agriculture will be a vital service not only to the industry but the entire nation. Our members look forward to working with him to advance trade negotiations around the world.”
As agricultural trade negotiator, Crowder is responsible for directing all U.S. agricultural trade negotiations including multilateral agreements in the WTO, and regional and bilateral agreements.
