NCGA Wins National AgriMarketing Award (4-27-05)

The National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) was awarded first place for its World of Corn in the 2004 Best of NAMA national awards in Phoenix last week. Sponsored by the National AgriMarketing Association, the event honors the best in agricultural marketing communications.

NAMA awards are given to the top ag advertising, public relations, print, web and broadcast campaigns each year. NCGA’s World of Corn entry took top honors in the Customer Brochures, Catalogs: Farmer-Directed Series category. The publication advanced to the national competition after winning a First Place award at the Region II NAMA awards event in January.

Also in January, the association won merit awards for the 2004 Corn Utilization and Technology Conference event and its Insect Resistance Management Learning Center.

The World of Corn is an annual publication featuring information and statistics on the corn industry.
