NCGA Wins National AgriMarketing Award (4-27-05)
The National
Corn Growers Association (NCGA) was awarded first place for its
World of Corn in the 2004 Best of NAMA national awards in Phoenix
last week. Sponsored by the National AgriMarketing Association,
the event honors the best in agricultural marketing communications.
NAMA awards
are given to the top ag advertising, public relations, print, web
and broadcast campaigns each year. NCGA’s World of Corn entry
took top honors in the Customer Brochures, Catalogs: Farmer-Directed
Series category. The publication advanced to the national competition
after winning a First Place award at the Region II NAMA awards event
in January.
Also in January,
the association won merit awards for the 2004 Corn Utilization and
Technology Conference event and its Insect Resistance Management
Learning Center.
The World of
Corn is an annual publication featuring information and statistics
on the corn industry.
