Colorado Corn Growers Association
Looking for New CEO (8-13-01)
The
Colorado Corn Growers Association and the Colorado Corn Administrative
Committee are seeking a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead them
in a quest for long-term financial health for their grower members,
and to be a spokesperson for the constituency of producers in Colorado.
The
CEO will lead a multi-tiered corporation that will seek advances in
both production agriculture, as well as products for the business-to-business
and consumer markets. Additionally, the position requires public presentation
and public policy skills in recognition of the significant role that
government plays in agri-business.
The
Colorado Corn Growers provides its CEO the challenge of developing a
number of innovative for-profit ventures based on value-added products
and services in the agriculture and information industry.
The
CEO will report to a grower board of directors, will manage relationships
with other industry-allied partners and direct an internal professional
staff.
A competitive
compensation package is available to an ideal candidate, including a
performance-based bonus based on P&L performance of the for-profit
subsidiaries.
