President Lee Klein congratulates Leslie Roach of Wheatland, N.D.,
NCGA's overall top production recruiter of the year.Roach's recruitment
performance in recent years has significantly bolstered the total
acres represented by the North Dakota Corn Growers Assocation. Leslie
also is the Warrior Division Winner in the NCGA-Syngenta recruiter
program, with 928 total points accumulated from an outstanding job
of recruiting 252 members. As the top production recruiter, Leslie
won up to $2,500 toward expenses for him and his wife, Audrey, to
attend Commodity Classic. He also won a $500 Sears gift card. |

about the need for upgrading locks and dams on the upper Mississippi
and Illinois rivers. Brescia discussed domestic infrastructure needs,
while Burrack and Horan shared their experiences on a recent trip
to Brazil where they witnessed millions of dollars being pumped
into that country's river infrastructure, posing an increased threat
to the United States' competitive edge worldwide. |

by Syngenta, at Commodity Classic. The goal of the program was to
help grower leaders and future leaders to be more effective for
their state
and national organization. |
