Register for NCGA 2007 Membership Symposium (12-26-06)

Karen PurvesCalling all NCGA recruiters! The 6th annual National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) Membership Symposium will be held Feb. 7-9 at the historic Peabody Hotel in downtown Memphis, Tenn.

The symposium is designed for members and state association staff looking to improve their membership development skills and learn the latest trends from experts.

NCGA recruiters may sign up for early registration through Jan. 23 for $25 per person. After Jan. 23, registration is $50. Registration includes two nights’ accommodations, breakfast and lunch, Thursday evening’s dinner event and four learning sessions.

Karen Purves will speak on “Retaining Members Through Innovation.” Purves is a sought-after international speaker, business consultant and life coach. Known for her infectious energy and enthusiasm, humor, practical tools and audience participation, her time-proven, content driven programs equip participants with immediately useful skills.

The Membership Symposium is an excellent opportunity for NCGA members who are serious about making their organization’s membership development efforts successful and is also recommended for state association staff, regional directors and grower leaders who have recently become involved in their state associations. NCGA members who wish to become recruiters should contact their state association office.

The NCGA membership program is sponsored by the seed brands of Syngenta — Garst, Golden Havest, NK Brand , and Syngenta Agrisure traits. NCGA recruiters interested in attending the event should contact their state association office or Kelly Cowan, at 636-733-9004, ext. 137 or email Cowan@ncga.com.
