Looking for Volunteers for 2001/2002 NCGA Action Team Appointments!
NCGA is contacting all current NCGA Action Team members asking if they would like to continue their service into 2001/2002, if selected. Letters are also being sent to state organizations offices to obtain applications from persons interested in future service on a Team. Timeline:

* Sept. 7--Applications are due into Kathy at the NCGA/St. Louis office

* Sept. 24 (week of)--Team appointments by 2001/2002 president (Tim Hume)

* Oct. 1 (week of)--Announcement of teams and notification to all applicants

Nebraska Corn Board Unveils New Website
The Nebraska Corn Board premiered its new website this week. The new website address is www.nebraskacorn.org.

  • Sept. 3 Offices closed for Labor Day. Have a happy and safe holiday!
  • Sept. 4-5 NCGA CEO and Executive Vice President Rick Tolman will visit the NCGA offices in Washington, D.C.
  • Sept. 4-5 NCGA Director of Customer and Business Development Rene Shunk will be in Lincoln, Neb., attending a meeting of the Nebraska Research Committee
  • Sept. 5-6 NCGA Director of Customer and Business Development Bob Sedlacek will be in Denver, Colo., attending an engineering economics meeting
  • Sept. 7 Rick Tolman will be in Kansas City, Mo., to attend a meeting of the Future Ag Structure Task Force (FASTF)
