Minnesota: One of the developing traditions of Minnesota Ag EXPO is the auction that benefits the Minnesota Corn Growers Association’s Political Action Committee, or MN CORN PAC. The event consists of both live and silent auctions. So far more than two dozen items have been donated, and typically, by the time the auctioneer bangs the gavel more than a hundred items, from the bargain to the one-of-a-kind collectible, can be acquired.

The event, which will be run by auctioneer Jim Fahey of Fahey sales, will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23 . Minnesota Ag EXPO, the annual two-day gathering sponsored by Minnesota Corn Growers Association and free to all corn growers in the state, takes place Jan. 23-24 in Morton, Minnesota, at the Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel.

Nebraska: The Nebraska Corn Development, Utilization and Marketing Board will hold its next meeting on Monday, Jan. 29, at Embassy Suites, 1040 P Street, in Lincoln, Nebraska.
