The 2017 contests received a record-breaking number of entries with 469 photos submitted, an increase of 150 entries over the number submitted in 2016. Since its launch four years ago, Fields-of-Corn has accumulated an archive of more than 1,400 photographs spread over seven categories: Scenic Landscapes, Growing Field Corn, Farm Family Lifestyle, Farming Challenges, SHP Conservation, Little Farmers and Corn. These photos are available for use by NCGA, its state affiliates and other allied organizations in digital and print media. Given the unique nature of this resource, NCGA also encourages those who benefit from the photo archive to help share through social media and, thus, spread the contest’s footprint and increase awareness in 2018.
Open to all, the Fields-of-Corn photo contest offers a free opportunity for photographers to share their work while competing for 25 cash prizes, including a $500 grand prize. For more information on prizes and on these categories, click here.
