Dedication

We are called upon during our lives to wear many hats, walk
many paths, work with many people. For Walter Goeppinger, life's
journey included the tireless pursuit of corn grower representation.
From the time Walter stepped into President Eisenhower's office
to discuss forming an association to the time he left NCGA leadership
limelight, his many years of volunteer service advanced corn
grower interests and increased corn grower profits. In honor
of that service, we dedicate, "Building the Value of Corn: A
History of NCGA," to Walter Goeppinger the grower, the
leader, the man.
